I produced a design system before moving forward with the email structure. The design direction was created using Hawaiian Airlines brand standards, competitor analysis conducted on other airline emails, WCAG accessibility standards and other email best practices. The system created resulted in brand consistency across Hawaiian Airlines ecosystem.

Our email design journey for Pax8 began with a comprehensive collection and thorough audit of the emails requiring redesign. Next, my focus shifted to identifying common elements and sections within the email templates. By recognizing these similarities, I developed a versatile component library. This valuable resource empowers designers to efficiently create visually consistent emails by utilizing pre-built sections and elements. By leveraging the component library, Pax8's designers can streamline their workflow and expedite emails. Pax8 designers use Stencil to build emails. We worked with Stencil to fully incorporate the components into the site and work within their build/design restrictions.
